About Krista
Krista Baldwin is a third generation Top Fuel Dragster pilot. Making her professional debut in 2021, Baldwin is driving her grandfather’s NHRA legend Chris “the Greek” Karamesines, DSR canopy dragster. Baldwin began racing when she was 18 with a front engine dragster at 7.6 seconds at 180 mph. In 2015 she upgraded to the nitro-injected A/Fuel dragster in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. Her best effort is a 5.26 at 276 mph.
In 2020, she upgraded to Top Fuel Dragster with a 3.99 licensing run. Baldwin is the daughter of late Top Fuel driver Bobby Baldwin. To honor her father, she is running under is competition number, Top Fuel 725.
Krista is the Creative Director for McLeod Racing and FTI Performance as well as the general manager for Paul Lee’s nitro funny car team.
